BRG Appliances Ltd and our various affiliates and brands including Breville, Baratza, beanz, ChefSteps, ControlFreak, FoodThinker, Lelit, Sage, Sage Commercial and others; (collectively “Sage,” “we,” “our” or “us”) hereby declare that we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to make our online services, websites, and mobile applications user-friendly and accessible, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and relevant national laws.

 

Our website and mobile applications aim to comply with the EN 301 549 European standard, which is aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This assessment was conducted on June26st, 2025 using a combination of self-assessment and an external third-party audit. We are actively working to improve accessibility and usability of our digital content.

 

Measures to support accessibility

Sage implemented the following accessibility measures:

  • Integration of accessibility principles into our development workflows.
  • Regular accessibility audits using both automated tools and manual testing.
  • Training of our teams in digital accessibility best practices.
  • Ongoing remediation of known issues to improve conformance.

 

Our Current Accessibility Efforts

Sage websites and apps are tested for:

  • Keyboard navigation support.
  • Screen reader compatibility
  • Adequate color contrast and resizable text.
  • Descriptive labels on interactive elements.
  • Logical heading structures and semantic HTML.

 

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Sage site is partially conformant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

 

Partially conformant means that some features or some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. For the features and content which may not be accessible, please see “Known Limitations” section below.

 

Known Accessibility Issues

While we strive to meet all accessibility requirements, we are aware of the following areas that may not yet fully conform:

  • Some older PDF documents are, particularly product manuals, may not be fully accessible to screen reader users as they lack proper tagging. We are working to remediate these documents and expect to complete this process by the end of 2025.
  • Third-party components or embedded content such as videos from external platforms, may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 standards, particularly regarding captions and audio descriptions. We are actively engaging with our partners to address these issues.

 

Ongoing Commitment

We are committed to continuous improvement in the accessibility of our website. We will regularly review and update this accessibility statement to reflect the progress of our remediation efforts, and any new accessibility features we implement. Our goal is to create a website that provides a positive and inclusive experience for all users.
