Sarah Dooley joins the Baratza team!!

SarahBaratza is delighted to announce the expansion of our team, with the addition of Sarah Dooley, to our Bellevue office, as Education and Quality Manager.

Listening to our customers (resellers and consumers), we know that grind quality and flavor in the cup is of paramount importance. Our mission is to continually improve and enhance our grinders to maximize that flavor experience. To do that, we want to better understand and marry the interplay of burrs, particle distribution, and flavor in the cup. Sarah’s rich background in the Specialty Coffee industry, her palate, her barista experience, as well as her work with equipment resellers and manufacturers will contribute greatly to our mission.

Working with Kyle Anderson and our product development team, Sarah will focus on enhancing the grind quality of our full range of Baratza grinders, fine-tuning our burrs and grinders to give the desired particle distribution for each. She will be working with our customers, home and commercial, to help them as they make coffee.

Supporting and connecting with the coffee community is vital to Baratza. Sarah’s extensive connections, enthusiasm and engagement with the Specialty Coffee Association of America, her positions on the executive board of the Barista Guild all fit right in with our values. Sarah has been a ‘go-to’ person for us as we ramp up the in-house coffee skills of our team at Baratza, so that we can better support our customers. We are thrilled that she will now be part of that team, sharing her extensive coffee knowledge and industry enthusiasm with our customers.
